What causes itchy mons pubis

Itching of the mons veneris is clinically common in two conditions: first, vaginitis, itching caused by leukorrhea irritation of the vulva. Vaginitis is clinically classified as mycosis fungoides, trichomoniasis, bacterial or senile vaginitis, and there is also mixed vaginitis. Mycosis vaginalis is characterized by leucorrhea of tofu-like or white thick curd-like consistency, accompanied by vulvar itching and vulvar edema, and is treated vaginally with clotrimazole suppositories or mycoplasma tablets. Trichomoniasis leucorrhea is thin and purulent, yellowish green, foamy and smelly, accompanied by vulvar itching or burning, painful intercourse, etc. Bacterial vaginitis leucorrhea is grayish white with itching and smelly, both trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginitis can be treated with metronidazole suppositories. Secondly, itching of the mons pubis is caused by non-specific vulvovaginitis, and non-specific vulvovaginitis can also cause vulvar itching. There is also vulvar dystrophy, vulvar eczema or pubic lice, which can cause vulvar and pubic mound itching.
