What are the dangers of renal failure

The hazards of renal failure may include water and electrolyte metabolic disorders, cardiovascular system hazards, gastrointestinal symptoms, hematologic manifestations, and neuromuscular system symptoms.
1. Water and electrolyte metabolism disorder: renal failure may cause metabolic acidosis, dilutional hyponatremia, hyperkalemia, hyperphosphatemia, hypocalcemia, hypomagnesemia and so on.
2. Cardiovascular system hazards: renal failure can lead to sodium retention, angiotensin increase, which in turn leads to hypertension, long-term hypertension will cause left ventricular hypertrophy, may also lead to heart failure, pericardial lesions, vascular calcification and atherosclerosis and even sudden cardiac death.
3. Gastrointestinal symptoms: the earliest manifestation of renal failure is gastrointestinal symptoms, mainly lack of appetite, nausea, vomiting and so on.
4. Hematological system symptoms: mainly renal anemia, bleeding tendency and thrombosis tendency.
5. Neuromuscular system symptoms: fatigue, insomnia, poor concentration in the early stage, followed by personality changes, depression, memory impairment, and reduced judgment.
Other hazards may occur in renal failure, so patients are advised to go to regular hospitals regularly and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of doctors.
