What is the reaction to high chorionic gonadotropin?

High chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) level may have early pregnancy reaction, menopause, abdominal pain, etc. Elevated HCG suggests that it may be early pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease and so on. 1. Early pregnancy: HCG can be detected in peripheral blood about 1 day after the fertilized egg is deposited in a normal pregnancy, and reaches 100U/L 14 days after ovulation, and HCG concentration >25U/L is positive for pregnancy. Early pregnancy can appear menopause, early pregnancy reaction, breast enlargement and other manifestations. 2. Ectopic pregnancy: Blood HCG is maintained at a low level, with no exponential rise in the interval of 2~3 days, ectopic pregnancy is suspected. The common manifestations of ectopic pregnancy are postmenopausal abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. 3. Gestational trophoblastic disease: blood HCG concentration is often >100kU/L, maintaining high level without dropping suggests that it may be hyperemesis gravidarum. Clinical manifestations include postmenopausal vaginal bleeding, abnormal enlargement of the uterus, and luteinized ovarian cysts. Some HCG-secreting tumors can also cause HCG increase, such as intestinal cancer and liver cancer. If HCG increase occurs, you should go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the increase and take treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
