How to treat knee strain

Knee strain occurs in patients who develop a strain in the quadriceps muscle group as a result of long-term chronic trauma, exertion, strain, etc. The patient may experience knee joint pain and limited movement when walking uphill or going up stairs. For treatment, conservative treatment may be considered, with bed rest and elevation of the affected limb. In the knee area, microwave therapy, low and medium frequency electrotherapy, physiotherapy baking, local herbal fumigation, and foot bath can be used. In addition, the patient can be instructed to take oral bruising medication, such as bone bruising spirit and bruising pills. If the patient has osteoarthritis of the knee joint due to aging and degeneration of the bones, the patient may experience pain in the knee joint, muscle weakness, and inability to bear weight on the knee joint. The patient may be instructed to keep warm and take oral anti-osteophytic drugs to slow down the aging of the bones. Patients can also be instructed to exercise the muscles of the lower limbs to strengthen the stability of the knee joint, which can also improve clinical symptoms.
