How soon can you leave the house after a curettage

It is best to rest for 1-2 weeks after curettage, the exact time depends on your recovery situation and cannot be generalized. Scraping surgery is mostly used for incomplete abortion and diagnostic scraping. The speed of recovery after the operation depends on age, physical condition, disease and other factors. Usually, younger patients recover faster and can go out at any time, mostly in about 1 week, if there are no symptoms such as pain and bleeding. However, care should be taken not to go out for too long and not to start labor too early. In case of older age, the rest period can be extended appropriately, up to one month if necessary. There will be a small amount of bleeding after the curettage, about 1 week, during which you should avoid cold, spicy food and not overwork. Try to rest more at home and go out if there are special circumstances, but pay attention to keeping warm. If the temperature outside is low, it is recommended to postpone the time to go out.
