How to correct a limp after a broken foot

Walking with a limp after a foot fracture may be caused by a fracture that has not yet healed, or it may be due to weak muscle strength. Corrective methods mainly include rehabilitation training, physical therapy and medication.
1. 2. Weak muscle strength: after a foot fracture, a long period of braking is needed, and the long period of braking may lead to the weakening of local muscle strength and the symptom of walking with a limp. The patient needs to strengthen the rehabilitation training and restore the muscle strength, and at the same time, he needs to pay attention to the joints’ activities to avoid stiffness of the joints, and the commonly used rehabilitation training actions include the ankle pumping movement, the extension and flexion of the toes training, and the resistance training of the calf muscles.
