1.First, make a clear diagnosis of whether bone metastasis is present: after the orthopedic surgeon conducts ECT or PETCT examination and finds abnormal sites, X-ray film, enhanced CT, MRI examination is feasible to determine the site with bone destruction, and after conducting biopsy of the lesion, a histopathological diagnosis is required from the pathologist. 2.After confirming the diagnosis, clarify the general condition and check the site of metastasis. 3.Consult the doctor who treats the primary tumor, assess the survival status of the patient, and develop a systemic systemic treatment plan (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, biological therapy, treatment with diphosphonates, etc.) 4.The orthopedic surgeon assesses the degree of impact of bone metastasis on the patient’s quality of survival and the degree of impact of receiving systemic systemic treatment, and determines the appropriate surgical treatment plan for the patient. Patients and their families should note that treatment by orthopedic surgeons is only a part of systemic systemic treatment, which is to facilitate and improve the quality of survival for patients to be able to receive comprehensive treatment, rather than that patients are cured after orthopedic treatment, the more important treatment is to receive treatment for the primary tumor. The patient’s condition needs to be fully understood before a plan can be formulated.
