Diarrhea is classified into many causes. Levofloxacin tablets are effective in the treatment of acute infectious enteritis. Acute infectious enteritis usually starts acutely in patients and diarrhea can be accompanied by fever and abdominal pain. There may be an increase in blood count and stool count. However, levofloxacin may not be effective for diarrhea caused by other etiologies, such as functional diarrhea, diarrhea caused by hyperthyroidism, or even diarrhea caused by imbalance of intestinal flora, and levofloxacin may aggravate the symptoms. Therefore, levofloxacin is not effective for all patients with diarrhea and needs to be determined by the patient.
