How long does misoprostol tablet take to work

  Misoprostol is often used together with Mifepristone to terminate early pregnancy in women within 49 days of menopause. It usually takes effect about 2-4 hours after taking the drug, and about 80% of women expel the chorion and fetal sac within 6 hours after taking the drug, and about 10% of women expel the chorion and fetal sac within 7 days after taking the drug.  Misoprostol tablets are sex hormone drugs that have the effect of softening the cervix, enhancing uterine tone and uterine contractions.
