How to control the growth of the eye axis in children

The growth of the eye axis in children can lead to the development of myopia, or the deepening of myopia, so controlling the growth of children’s eyes is the primary factor in controlling the onset of myopia and controlling the progression of myopia. There are three types of clinical methods to control the myopic eye axis in children: First, increasing the time of outdoor activities and ensuring more than two hours of outdoor activities per day can effectively control the growth of the eye axis in children and reduce the incidence of myopia. The second category, drops of low concentration of atropine, i.e., 0.01% concentration of atropine, can effectively reduce the growth of the eye axis of myopic children and delay the deepening of myopia in children. The third type, wearing ok lenses, i.e., keratoplasty lenses, every night, can also slow down the growth rate of the eye axis and reduce the growth of myopia in children. These three methods are clinically recognized as more effective ways to control the growth of the eye axis.
