What causes stomach pain in women

In female patients, stomach pain can be due to the following reasons: First, patients with appendicitis may present with typical metastatic right lower abdominal pain, which initially occurs around the umbilicus in the upper abdomen and then shifts to the right lower abdomen a few hours later, with progressive worsening of the pain, accompanied by nausea, vomiting and fever. Second, patients with acute gastroenteritis may also present with abdominal pain, a typical history of eating an unclean diet, or overeating followed by abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and in severe cases, fever and fluid imbalance. Systematic anti-infective, symptomatic, rehydration and other supportive treatment is required. In the acute phase, fluid, easily digestible food should be the mainstay, and stay away from irritating foods.
