The time of recurrence of ovarian cancer after six chemotherapy stops is not necessarily related to the patient’s clinical stage and the size of residual lesions after surgery. For early stage ovarian cancer patients, surgery can basically remove the lesion cleanly, and after completing standardized treatments such as chemotherapy and targeted therapy, the recurrence rate is low, and the five-year survival rate of the patients after surgery can reach 70% or even 90%. For middle and late stage ovarian cancer patients, it is difficult to remove the lesion cleanly by surgery or they have already missed the chance of surgery, and the probability of recurrence after chemotherapy is relatively high. 70% of the patients can recur within 2-3 years, and the five-year survival rate is only 20%-30%. Especially for advanced stage patients, chemotherapy can only prolong the survival period of patients, and it is difficult to achieve the effect of clinical cure. After treatment, ovarian cancer patients should have regular review. Once signs of ovarian cancer recurrence are found, they should go to the hospital for treatment in time.
