GGO is a ground glass density shadow in the lung, which appears as a mild increase in density on chest CT, but the vascular shadow within it is clearly visible. It is mostly seen in the early stages of inflammation, edema, interstitial lung lesions and lung tumors in the lung. If you want to clarify the nature of GGO, further examination is needed to perform pathological diagnosis, either by percutaneous lung puncture or transbronchoscopic lung biopsy, to take specimens and clarify the pathological diagnosis. If the pathology suggests inflammation, edema or interstitial lung lesions, anti-infection and anti-interstitial treatment will be given. If the pathology suggests lung cancer, which is especially common in lung adenocarcinoma, early surgical resection is needed to improve the survival rate of patients.
