Tummy pain and heartburn can occur in a variety of conditions. In patients with cardiac arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, mesenteric artery embolization can occur and present with acute abdominal symptoms, including stomach pain and panic. The patient’s electrocardiogram showed atrial fibrillation, and relevant arterial imaging suggested mesenteric artery embolism, so systematic and relevant treatment is recommended. In addition, stomach pain and panic may be due to digestive system infection, causing abdominal pain and diarrhea, and the patient may be accompanied by fever and rapid heart rate, leading to panic. Tummy ache and panic attack may be caused by low potassium which creates a paralyzed state. At the same time, low potassium can cause tachyarrhythmia, which can lead to panic attacks. A systematic differential diagnosis is needed for stomach pain and panic.
