The recurrence rate of invasive ductal carcinoma is 20-50%, depending on the metastasis and tumor size. Invasive ductal carcinoma itself is prone to recurrence, clinically its recurrence rate is around 20-50%, but it depends on tumor metastasis, tumor size and treatment, and after recovery, it is necessary to carry out imaging examination and blood routine examination regularly in order to find out recurrence in time and take targeted treatment. Generally speaking, the recurrence rate of early invasive ductal carcinoma patients is lower because the cancer cells have not metastasized and spread, and can be completely eliminated after surgery and other treatments; whereas, patients with middle and late stage have larger tumors and extensive metastases, which are difficult to be completely cured and thus are more prone to recurrence.
