Half numbness of the body may be a physiological phenomenon, or it may be a symptom of certain diseases, such as spinal cord cervical spondylosis, cerebral infarction, etc., and the cause of the disease should be identified through timely consultation.
1. Physiological factors: If you sleep in an incorrect posture or lie on your side for a long time without turning over, you may feel a transient numbness in one half of your body when you wake up.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1)Spinal cord cervical spondylosis: this disease mainly compresses or stimulates the spinal cord and causes myeloid sensory, motor and reflex disorders, which are manifested as numbness and heaviness in one or both lower limbs, as well as numbness and pain in one or both upper limbs.
(2) Cerebral infarction: Cerebral infarction affects the function of brain nerves and leads to hemiplegia, which mainly manifests as numbness and pain in one or both upper and lower limbs; hemiplegia, aphasia, ataxia and other disorders may also occur.
This symptom alone is not enough to diagnose the disease. It is recommended that if physiological causes are excluded, the patient should consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease and give targeted treatment.
