Effective methods for infant cough

Coughing is a defensive conditioned reflex produced by the body that facilitates the removal of respiratory secretions and harmful substances. Infant coughs can be treated in different ways according to their causes: 1. External stimulation: dry air and foreign bodies in the throat can stimulate the throat and cause coughing. 3. Allergy: when exposed to allergens, the body’s mast cells and eosinophils are activated to release inflammatory mediators and leukotrienes, resulting in allergic inflammation of the airways and allergic coughing, which is usually treated with antihistamines such as loratadine. Infection and coughing symptoms can be treated with anti-inflammatory and cough suppressant drugs, such as cephalosporins or azithromycin; 5. Esophageal reflux: choking and coughing can also occur in infants with esophageal reflux after eating, and the respiratory tract should be cleared as soon as possible to avoid choking. Parents are advised to take their children to a regular hospital for examination to confirm the diagnosis of the disease for professional treatment, so as not to delay the disease and affect health.
