Patients with a sore throat can, in general, eat passion fruit. Sore throat is mostly seen in acute upper respiratory tract infections, common cold, acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis, or the presence of abscesses and ulcers in the throat, which can lead to the symptoms of sore throat. Passion fruit is one of the most common fruits, extremely rich in water and vitamins, and has no effect on sore throats, and does not aggravate the symptoms of sore throats, nor does it have any effect on the disease that causes them. There is a very small percentage of patients who may be allergic to passion fruit, which may trigger an allergic reaction, thus aggravating the symptoms of sore throat, but this is extremely rare.
