Nasal bone fracture, a common clinical condition in otolaryngology, is mostly caused by trauma. If it is accompanied by significant misalignment of the fracture severed end and a deformed nasal profile, nasal bone repositioning treatment is required with the aim of correcting the nasal profile. Nasal bone repositioning surgery can be performed under either general or local anesthesia. Local anesthesia can be considered when the following conditions occur: adult patients, with good psychological quality, who can fully tolerate cooperation with local anesthesia after the explanation of their condition. General anesthesia is required when the patient is young or a child, an adult patient with poor physical condition or psychological stress, or a patient with a nasal fracture with maxillary, frontal and nasal septal fractures, or a patient with a complex condition.
