Chinese medicine treatment for stomach not knowing whether it is full or hungry should be based on the patient’s specific symptoms and tongue and pulse identification and medication. For example, if there is insufficient stomach yin (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach), we can use Yiqi Tang to add subtractions; if the spleen and stomach are weak, we can use Xiangsha Liujunzi to add subtractions, and so on.
Stomach pain occurs when the stomach does not know whether it is full or hungry, which belongs to the category of gastric pain in Chinese medicine, mainly due to the stagnation of stomach qi and the loss of gastric healing (obstruction of gastric descending function) caused by external evils, dietary injuries to the stomach, and emotional and emotional disorders.
Common clinical manifestations include hidden pain in the stomach and epigastrium, hunger, nausea, dryness and vomiting, loss of appetite, dry mouth and throat, emaciation, heart-heat (heat in the heart of the hands and feet, and feeling hot in the heart and chest), dry stools, red tongue with little moss, and fine pulse (the pulse becomes narrower and finer, and the rate is accelerated). Add the subtraction of Yi Stomach Tang.
It can also be seen in weak spleen and stomach, often manifesting as low food intake and dullness (no appetite, reduced food intake), food stagnation, tiredness and fatigue, low qi and laziness (lack of strength, not wanting to talk), loose stools, pale tongue, white moss, and weak pulse. Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang can be used with additional subtractions.
It is not limited to the above symptoms. If you are not feeling well, consult a doctor in time and use medicines under the doctor’s guidance.
