Can the combination of Zuo Gui Wan and Kun Tai Capsule treat menopausal syndrome?

It is not recommended to take Zuo Gui Wan and Kuntai capsule together, both have the same drug, ripened dihuang, and both have the effect of nourishing yin and clearing away heat, repeated use of the medication may have the risk of overdose.
Zuo Gui Wan is composed of ripened dihuang, cuscuta, tortoise board gum, yam, cornelian cherry, wolfberry, hyssop, deer horn gum. It is effective in nourishing the kidney and tonifying yin, and is used to treat lumbar soreness and weakness of the knees caused by deficiency of kidney yin, night sweating (sweating in sleep, but waking up to stop it) spermatorrhea, mental fatigue (lack of spirit), and dryness of the mouth. Adverse effects of this product are not known. It should not be taken by patients with colds. It is contraindicated for pregnant women and forbidden for children.
Kuntai Capsule is composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Colla Corii Asini, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Scutellariae Scutellariae, Rhizoma Coptidis and Poria. It is effective in nourishing yin and clearing heat, tranquilizing the mind and removing vexation, and is used for hot flashes, night sweating, red face, vexation, insomnia, dreaming, tinnitus, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness, and heat in hands and feet due to yin deficiency and fire exuberance. The adverse effects of this product are not known. There may be stomach pain and bloating after taking it, which can be handled by changing to take the medicine after meals or stopping the medicine.
Zuo Gui Wan and Kun Tai Capsule both contain Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, taking them together may lead to an overdose of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, which may cause adverse effects on the body, therefore, it is not recommended to take them together.
Combination of the two drugs must be used under the guidance of a doctor, do not blindly use the drug to avoid the risk of drug use.
