In this case, we generally consider that it is related to trauma, first of all, we should take X-rays to clarify whether there is a fracture of the toe bone, the specific treatment is as follows: 1. exclude fracture: if fracture is excluded, generally only need to activate blood stasis, anti-inflammatory and pain treatment, 1-2 weeks to minimize walking, general soft tissue injuries in about two weeks can heal on their own. 2. confirm fracture: if there is a fracture of the toe bone. If the fracture is well aligned, it can be fixed in a cast for about six weeks, and the foot should be elevated for six weeks to facilitate blood flow to the lower extremity. At the end of six weeks, X-rays can be taken, and if it is clear that there is continuous bone scab passing through the fracture, the cast can be removed and the fracture can be gradually put into a weight-bearing position with the support of double crutches, and generally at the end of three months, if the fracture is completely healed, the crutches can be abandoned for full weight-bearing.
