There is no such thing as the best dendrobium for what disease, the right treatment can get good results. In clinical practice, Dendrobium can treat fever and fluid injury, dry mouth and thirst, gastric yin deficiency (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach) and other diseases. Dendrobium is sweet in flavor and slightly cold in nature. It belongs to the stomach and kidney meridians. It has the effects of benefiting the stomach and generating fluids (nourishing the stomach by replenishing the fluids in the stomach), nourishing yin and clearing heat (nourishing the yin essence and clearing heat). It is used for dry vomiting with little food, non-resolving of deficiency heat after illness, yin deficiency and fire exuberance (deficiency of yin essence in the body, resulting in hyperactive deficiency fire), bone vapor and laborious heat, darkness of the eyes, and impotence of sinews and bones. Among them, the treatment of stomach yin deficiency, spleen yin consumption caused by the spleen and stomach yin deficiency (spleen and stomach yin fluid deficiency) of the evidence, and Sha Shen, Maidong, lentils, etc.; treatment of spleen and stomach yin deficiency caused by cacophony (stomach similar to hunger, emptiness with a burning sensation), good hunger, less nausea and knotty stools, often with Poria, lentils, white atractylodes and other products to strengthen the spleen. It should be noted that it is forbidden to serve those who have not injured the yin in the early stage of warm-heat disease, those who are not dry in wet-warm disease (warm disease caused by feeling dampness and heat), and those who have deficiency cold in spleen and stomach (spleen and stomach are weak and cold).
