How to relieve snoring

Snoring, i.e. snoring, may be caused by physiological factors such as overexertion and alcohol consumption, which do not need special treatment, or it may be caused by adenoid hypertrophy and deviated nasal septum, which need to be treated with surgery and medication according to the cause of the disease.
1. Physiological factors: If you are overworked for a long time, snoring will easily appear in your sleep. In addition, drinking alcohol will cause excessive relaxation of the throat and tongue muscles, which will block part of the airflow and also cause snoring. These are normal physiological phenomena, which can be improved by supplementing sleep, adopting side-lying position, and reducing alcohol consumption.
2. Adenoid hypertrophy: For snoring caused by adenoid hypertrophy blocking the posterior nostrils, adenoidectomy is needed.
3. Deviated nasal septum: If snoring is caused by deviated nasal septum, you need to take submucosal correction of nasal septum as a treatment.
Snoring may also be caused by nasal polyps, sinusitis, upper respiratory tract infection, enlarged tonsils, throat tumor and other diseases.
It is suggested that patients need to consult a doctor in time for snoring, clarify the cause of the disease, and then follow the doctor’s instructions for active treatment.
