What is the problem of mildly enlarged parenchymal echogenicity of the prostate?

The prostate is mildly enlarged and the parenchymal echogenicity is uneven, suggesting that the prostate is enlarged and diseased, but what exactly is diseased can’t be determined from the ultrasound report alone.
An ultrasound that shows uneven echoes in the parenchyma of the prostate suggests a localized lesion in the prostate that is causing the uneven echoes. In a healthy man, the prostate should have a uniform echogenicity on ultrasound, and the gland should have a black image, which means that the ultrasound is evenly bounced back by the gland.
In the case of a diseased gland, there is a significant difference between the diseased area and the normal glandular tissue, and the ultrasound bounces back at a different time, which is uneven.
If the ultrasound shows the presence of lesions, you should consult a doctor for further diagnosis by combining symptoms, signs and other auxiliary examinations.
