What’s wrong with blisters on the surface of eczema?

Blisters on the surface of eczema are a common symptom of eczema, and may appear as papules, pimples, and blisters on top of erythema.
The exact cause of eczema has not been fully clarified and is considered to be related to a combination of several internal and external factors. For example, eczema may be triggered by external stimuli such as ultraviolet rays, food, pollen, animal fur, as well as factors such as mental stress, excessive fatigue and heredity.
In the initial stage of eczema, red or dark red patches may appear on the skin, and on top of the skin erythema, pinpoint or millet-sized pimples and papules may appear. With further exacerbation of symptoms, small blisters may appear, fusing into patches. If secondary infection occurs, it may lead to localized pus or the formation of pustules and crusts.
With intense itching and obvious skin lesions, it is recommended to consult the dermatology department of the hospital in time for a clear diagnosis and symptomatic treatment.
