Children’s vision correction methods

Children with refractive errors in their eyes that lead to vision loss need early correction. There are two general methods used to correct vision in children: the first is frame glasses, which are the most common and classic method, and are very convenient to wear. The second is corneal contact lenses, also commonly known as contact lenses, which can be divided into soft and rigid corneal contact lenses depending on the material. Among them, rigid corneal contact lenses are recommended. These glasses are also called keratoplasty lenses, which are commonly known as OK lenses, and can be used for the correction of myopia and astigmatism, and can effectively slow down the development of myopia, so the effect is very good. However, because of the high requirements for the wearer, it is usually required that the child be at least 6 years old before they can wear keratoplasty lenses.
