Causes of soreness at the foot-sanli point

The causes of soreness at the foot-sanli point are divided into two types: the sense of getting qi at the point and pathology. Pathology is divided into gastrointestinal diseases, local lesions and so on.
1. Acupuncture point qi sensation: after pressing the acupoint, there is a qi sensation, then there will be soreness, and the soreness of pressing the foot Sanli is more obvious than other acupoints.
2. Pathological causes: The first pathological cause is a reflection of gastrointestinal diseases, and the second cause is tissue lesions at the acupoint.
(1) Gastrointestinal diseases: Foot Sanli is located on the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian. If pressing Foot Sanli produces a strong soreness, it may be a reflection of gastrointestinal diseases, and common diseases include dyspepsia, gastritis, peptic ulcers, and enteritis.
(2) Localized lesions: Injuries to the tissues around the acupoint, due to stagnation of qi and blood stasis, and blockage of the meridians, can also cause soreness at the Foot Sanli acupoint.
There may also be other reasons for soreness at the foot-sanli point, so it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease and then give targeted treatment or therapy.
