Having a di greater than 2.5 is not indicative of cancer. During cervical examination, if di is greater than 2.5, it usually indicates the presence of chronic inflammation and further examination is needed, such as TCT, HPV and, if necessary, pathological biopsy under colposcopy. The nature of the disease can usually be diagnosed. Therefore, we should not rely on di greater than 2.5 alone to indicate cancer, but should take reasonable diagnosis and treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
