Can the ear canal and nostril be blocked when the ear and nose are leaking

The ear canal and nostril cannot be blocked when there is an ear to nose leak. The so-called ear and nose leakage is also known as cerebrospinal fluid ear leakage and cerebrospinal fluid nasal leakage in clinical practice. There are many causative factors, both congenital and acquired, with the latter being the most common, and the traumatic and medical causes being the most common. The principles of clinical treatment for cerebrospinal fluid aural and nasal leaks, regardless of the condition, are unobstructed drainage, avoidance of infection, and timely repair. This means that the ear canal and nostril should not be blocked, drug dripping is strictly prohibited, and infection is actively prevented and controlled. Most cases can heal spontaneously after two weeks, but for those that do not heal spontaneously or are more serious, surgical repair can be performed depending on the condition.
