If a patient accidentally takes diamond powder, he or she must first detoxify at home by drinking a large amount of warm water, saline or mineral water, and then take the throat picking method into the chest to induce vomiting, and then immediately go to the hospital for the next step of detoxification treatment. After arriving at the hospital, if the patient is conscious, manual gastric lavage can be taken. If the patient is unconscious, a gastric tube should be inserted quickly, and the automatic gastric lavage method of the gastric lavage machine should be performed. After gastric lavage, magnesium sulfate or mannitol should be given as a high level enema to remove the diamond powder that has not been completely absorbed in the intestinal lumen, or activated charcoal can be applied for adsorption. Once a large amount of diamond powder is taken, resulting in acute liver and kidney function impairment, continuous blood purification can be considered for detoxification.
