Aminophylline is a theophylline drug that can be used for the relief of wheezing, shortness of breath and dyspnea symptoms that occur in bronchial asthma, wheezing bronchitis and cardiogenic asthma. Some patients may experience adverse reactions after use, commonly including nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite and other symptoms of the digestive system. There may also be headache, agitation, irritability, insomnia, and a few patients may experience skin allergy. The use of aminophylline is generally prohibited in acute myocardial infarction with significantly lower blood pressure and severe arrhythmia, active peptic ulcer, and allergy to aminophylline, and the combined use of macrolides and quinolones may increase the concentration of aminophylline in the blood and increase toxicity, so avoid simultaneous use.
