When there is arteriovenous fistula in liver cancer, traditional Chinese medicine treatment and hepatic artery embolization treatment can be used.
2. Hepatic artery embolization: normal liver tissues are supplied by portal vein and hepatic artery, while most liver cancer tissues are supplied by hepatic artery (more than 95%). Taking advantage of this difference in blood supply, chemotherapy drugs and embolizing agents are injected into hepatic artery in the form of sandwich bread to cut off blood supply to tumor and release chemotherapy drugs continuously, which can increase the concentration of chemotherapy drugs for liver tumor and improve anti-tumor effect.
