Most of the sacral nerve injuries in clinic are caused by trauma, such as traffic accidents or falls from heights and collapses, which can lead to sacral nerve injuries in patients. There are two main treatments in the clinic, which are categorized into conservative treatment and surgical treatment. Due to the different symptoms caused by sacral nerve injury, the clinical manifestations of the patients are also different, some symptoms are more serious and some symptoms are more mild. Slight symptoms such as abnormal nerve sensation or pins and needles sensation in the lower limbs as well as paralysis or muscle atrophy of the thigh muscles can be relieved by conservative treatments, such as acupuncture, rehabilitation and taking drugs to nourish the nerves, while more serious symptoms can be treated by surgery.
