Whether the quad or pentavalent vaccine is usually recommended

Generally, it is recommended to take DPT5 vaccine. This is because the D5 vaccine has more polio vaccine than the D4 vaccine, which is more comprehensive; the D5 vaccine is an upgraded version of the D4 vaccine, which is more advanced and has a qualitative leap; and the D5 vaccine is easier and safer to be transported and stored than the D4 vaccine. Both D4 and D5 vaccines can generate humoral immune response in the body and are used to prevent whooping cough, diphtheria, tetanus and invasive diseases caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b (e.g., meningitis, pneumonia, etc.), while D5 vaccine can prevent more infections caused by poliomyelitis than D4 vaccine. Although the D5 vaccine is much better than the D4 vaccine in terms of both vaccine safety and technology, it is also more expensive, so parents are advised to choose according to their financial conditions and their own needs.
