How to use the frontal mirror

The frontal mirror is composed of a headband and a mirror body with a small circular hole in the center, which is often used for otorhinolaryngological examination. The mirror reflects the light beam from the opposite light source to the part to be examined, i.e., the ear, throat and nose, etc. Generally, a 100-watt incandescent bulb is used as the light source. It is placed on the left side of the examiner, and the doctor examines the area along the light through the small circular hole in the middle of the frontal mirror, that is, the eye, the hole and the examination area are in a straight line. The operation has the characteristics of simplicity and good light illumination, and is widely used in outpatient otorhinolaryngology examinations.
