Bleeding afterwards is vaginal bleeding after intercourse, for which there are problems that can cause bleeding during intercourse. There are several common reasons for this: the first one is that the vaginal mucosa or the cervical mucosa has polyps, which are relatively brittle and can cause local capillary rupture during intercourse, resulting in bleeding. The second reason is because of chronic inflammation of the cervix itself, when having intercourse, the inflammation will cause the tissue to be brittle, and after contact, the mucous membrane will be broken and cause bleeding. The third reason is that bleeding during intercourse may occur in the early stage of cervical cancer. It is recommended to have a gynecological examination for intercourse bleeding, and if there are polyps in the vaginal or cervical mucosa, it is recommended to have a cervical cancer screening at the same time.
