What should I do if I am always constipated?

Constipation may be caused by physiological factors such as being sedentary or bedridden, or by pathological factors such as intestinal tuberculosis and intestinal obstruction. Constipation can be relieved and treated by physical therapy such as abdominal massage, dietary therapy such as light diet, and drug therapy such as lactulose and rifampicin.
1. Physiological reasons: such as inhibiting the urge to go to the toilet, toilet time is too long and other bad defecation habits, often sedentary or bedridden and other bad exercise habits, can lead to constipation. You can carry out localized abdominal massage to accelerate blood circulation and stimulate gastrointestinal peristalsis, thus relieving constipation. You can also make dietary adjustments, drink more water and pay attention to a light diet. Lactulose, polyethylene glycol and other diarrhea-inducing drugs can be used to promote defecation.
2. Pathologic causes:
(1) Intestinal tuberculosis: it is a chronic specific infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis invading the intestinal tubes, which can cause abdominal pain, constipation, mushy stools, low-grade fever, night sweats and other symptoms. Rifampicin, pyrazinamide, ethambutol and other drugs can be chosen for treatment.
(2) Intestinal obstruction: Incomplete intestinal obstruction can cause constipation, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms, and pivacurium bromide, atropine and other drugs can be chosen to relieve the spasm of intestinal smooth muscle, so as to improve constipation and other symptoms. Surgery can be performed if necessary.
Constipation is always recommended to consult a doctor in order to clarify the diagnosis and carry out targeted treatment. In addition, all of the above drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used without authorization.
