What to do if you have a severe pregnancy reaction

Pregnancy reaction is a series of early pregnancy reactions caused by the increase of blood HCG level in the body after 6 weeks of pregnancy. Generally, the reaction is mild and does not affect the life, so no treatment is needed. However, in some women, pregnancy reactions are so obvious that they may cause nausea and vomiting to the point of inability to eat, pallor, decrease in urine output and blood pressure, and in such cases, hospitalization is necessary. After hospitalization, fasting and intravenous rehydration are required to replenish water and electrolytes, and if necessary, potassium chloride and vitamin C should be added to stop vomiting and protect the stomach.
