1. Physiological causes: such as eating spicy, irritating food, cold abdomen, etc., can cause gastrointestinal stimulation, thus leading to sudden vomiting.
2. Acute gastritis: it is the inflammatory reaction of the gastric mucosa to various stimulating factors in the stomach. The main manifestations are abdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and other symptoms, and in severe cases, there may be vomiting blood, black stools, dehydration and shock and other symptoms. It can also cause sudden vomiting.
3. Pyloric obstruction: refers to the obstruction of the pyloric part of the stomach. It is mainly manifested by massive vomiting of overnight food, which may be accompanied by abdominal pain, bloating, acid reflux, belching and other symptoms. It can also cause sudden vomiting.
4. Increased intracranial pressure: It is caused by the increase of contents in the brain. It mainly manifests as headache, vomiting, optic papillary edema and other symptoms. It can also cause sudden vomiting. Vomiting tends to be jet-like.
