Is a woman with high estrogen sexually active

A high level of estrogen in women does not necessarily mean strong sexual function. Abnormally high estrogen levels may increase the risk of breast enlargement and breast cancer. The level of estrogen and sexual function are not necessarily related. Women’s sexual function or libido is affected by a variety of factors, including normal endocrine function; the presence of gynecological diseases such as vaginitis and pelvic inflammatory disease; the presence of other chronic diseases that cause discomfort; and the couple’s relationship. Generally, after menopause, estrogen levels decline and have an impact on libido, but high estrogen levels alone do not represent strong sexual function. Abnormally high estrogen levels can affect the menstrual cycle and increase the risk of breast enlargement, breast cancer, and uterine fibroids. If a woman has a high estrogen level, she can take some endocrine regulating drugs under the guidance of her doctor to normalize her hormone levels.
