Symptoms of recurrent pleurisy

There are many symptoms of recurrence of pleurisy that can manifest themselves, most notably the diagnosis of recurrence needs to be compared to the first pleurisy symptoms, if these symptoms are similar to those of the first pleurisy, a recurrence of pleurisy needs to be considered. Common symptoms of pleurisy are chest pain, fever, dyspnea, and coughing, all of which are due to the infection of the pleurisy bacteria itself leading to fever. Chest pain is due to irritation of the pleura by inflammatory factors, and cough is due to stimulation of the cough center by toxins produced by pleurisy as well as inflammatory factors. There is also, for example, chest tightness which may be caused by pleural effusion due to pleurisy compressing the lung tissue, leading to atelectasis causing chest tightness.
