What causes heat in the hands and feet?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) believes that heat in the hands, feet and heart is mostly related to yin deficiency and fire exuberance (deficiency of yin and essence in the body, resulting in hyperactivity of deficiency fire). The Yin deficiency and fire evidence refers to the deficiency of Yin essence, which leads to the inflammation of the deficiency fire. Symptoms such as five heartburns and heat, hot flashes and night sweats (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, sweating stops after waking up), bone vapor and hot flashes (a burst of heat, feeling that the heat is penetrating from the inside of the bone to the outside), heart heat in the hands and feet, and dryness of the mouth and throat may occur. One reason for Yin deficiency and fire is that as we age, the depletion of Yin fluid is a normal process of decline. After the depletion of yin fluid, the external transgression of deficient yang also leads to the phenomenon of yin deficiency and fire exuberance. Another reason is that after a heat illness that depletes the yin fluid, a poor recovery will result in a deficiency of yin and fluids, leading to a deficiency of yin and an exuberance of phasic fire. These are the common causes of Heart Fever of the hands and feet. When the symptoms of heart heat in hands and feet appear, you should consult a doctor in time, actively find out the specific cause of the disease, early treatment, to prevent the delay in the condition leads to progressive aggravation of the symptoms.
