Is grade 2 kidney cancer stage 1?

Grade 2 of kidney cancer is not necessarily stage 1. Grading and staging of kidney cancer are different concepts. Grading mainly refers to the postoperative pathological diagnosis of kidney cancer specimens, which is divided into four grades according to the degree of division and differentiation of kidney cancer cells. 1. Grade I: renal cancer cells are in high differentiation state, the invasive ability and distant metastasis of tumor cells are weak, and the survival and prognosis are better. 2. Grade II: renal cancer cells are in moderately differentiated state, with relatively good prognosis. 3. Grade III and Grade IV: at this time, kidney cancer cells are in low differentiation state, with high malignancy of tumor cells, high metastatic and invasive ability, and the prognosis is relatively poor. Patients with grade 2 kidney cancer may be in early stage, intermediate stage or advanced stage. If patients feel uncomfortable, they need to consult doctor for examination and early treatment.
