Exercise can be beneficial for heart patients, but in moderation. For patients with organic heart disease, appropriate exercise is beneficial. Patients, especially the elderly, are recommended to perform appropriate aerobic exercise, evaluated by a heart rate of 180 beats minus age. The patient’s heart can be soothingly regulated by walking slowly during cardiac rehabilitation, and jogging or tai chi is recommended for the elderly. For young people, after three months to six months of cardiac rehabilitation, they can participate in normal exercise and just control their heart rate.
