Plaster fixation should not be removed occasionally after it has been performed. Plaster fixation should be used after fracture, tendon rupture surgery, and nerve rupture suture surgery. If the cast is removed at will after a fracture, it can cause greater stress on the fracture end, and in severe cases, it can even lead to displacement of the fracture end due to greater stress, and even require reoperation to treat it. Plaster fixation for tendon rupture sutures should not be removed at will either. If the plaster is removed, the tendon rupture part will be stressed more and the operation will fail, making the tendon rupture again. Similarly, plaster fixation should not be removed after nerve rupture suturing, as it may lead to re-rupture of the nerve.
