What are the characteristics of normal menstruation?

Many women may not know what exactly is considered normal for menstruation, and often feel distressed by their irregular periods. In fact, there are many people whose periods are mostly in the normal range, who confirm themselves as abnormal, and repeatedly seek medical advice and medication to adjust them, resulting in more irregular periods. For normal menstruation, I have the following points to introduce to all women: 1. Cycle: is a simple indicator to determine whether a woman’s menstruation is normal, each woman’s menstrual cycle is different, ranging from 21 to 35 days, and some people have a menstrual period for 40 days. However, as long as there is regularity, it is normal. Adolescents, because the menstrual axis is not yet mature, between 21-45 days is also considered normal. 2. The amount of menstrual blood: The amount of menstrual flow varies from person to person, but generally 20-70 ml is considered normal. The normal is to change four or five times a day, no more than two packs per cycle. If you use three packs of sanitary napkins each time is not enough, each piece of sanitary napkin is wet, it is too much menstruation. 3, menstrual period: women’s period is about 3-7 days, bleeding is concentrated in the first 3 days, and then gradually reduced until the menstrual blood clean. Some people after the menstrual blood clean, after a day or two again a little, commonly known as “menstrual blood back”, this is also a normal phenomenon. It is the vaginal self-cleaning discharge of bloody secretions. However, some people have periods as long as 10-20 days, menstrual dripping; some have very short periods, just “a shake” that is passed. Both of these phenomena are abnormal. 4, the color of menstrual blood: is to determine whether the female menstruation is normal in one of the four indicators, the normal menstrual blood is dark red, sticky clot-free. If the menstrual blood is thin like water, pink, black or purple, or if the menstrual blood is completely clotted, it is abnormal. The above points tell us that menstruation varies from person to person, not all menstruation is “once in a month”, but it is normal if it has its own cycle, moderate volume and normal period. If there is an abnormality, please go to a professional clinic for regular treatment and adjustment, and do not take drugs indiscriminately.
