Does it hurt after circumcision?

There will be some pain after circumcision, but the pain is mostly tolerable, especially when the penis is erect and the pain may increase. Post-operative pain medication is usually given as an adjunct to the treatment to reduce pain. The pain is most severe within 24 hours after surgery, and gradually decreases from 24 hours to 72 hours. After 72 hours, the pain is usually painless under normal circumstances, and there may be slight pain when the penis is erect. Note that after the surgery, if the pain is severe during erection, you can take one capsule of diclofenac sodium orally and take it immediately when it is painful, and the pain can be gradually relieved in about half an hour or so. An optional extended-release preparation of one capsule can be taken orally and maintained for up to 24 hours. It is recommended that it can be taken continuously for 3 days after surgery. After surgery, if erection, severe pain accompanied by local bleeding, it is necessary to go to the hospital immediately for wound dressing change treatment.
