Urine ketone test strips are generally used to detect fat metabolites in urine, and their main function is to detect the presence of diabetes. The metabolites of fat burning are mainly ketones. A normal urine sample does not contain ketones and is usually negative, i.e., the indicated test result is marked with a minus sign (-). If ketones are present in the urine, the color of the test strip will gradually change from a light color to a purplish-red color. The darker the color, the more ketones are present in the urine and the more fat is burned. When using urine ketone test paper, you should hold the end of the test strip, completely submerge the test paper block in the urine sample for 2 seconds, then remove the test paper, gently remove the excess urine with absorbent paper, observe the test paper for 1-2 minutes, compare it with the colorimetric card, and read the data.
