How can snoring be treated?

Snoring is commonly known as snoring. People used to think that snoring is a good sleep, but snoring may be a pathology. People who snore are often complained about by others, and it is annoying to affect the rest of the same room or spouse. However, the greater danger of snoring is that it causes apnea. Snoring is often accompanied by sleep apnea, which is a serious symptom that can lead to sudden death and is called the night killer, often combined with hypertension, coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, etc. The main causes of snoring and sleep apnea are abnormalities of the upper airway such as oversized tonsils, large uvula, small pharyngeal cavity and enlarged tongue, as well as obesity, short neck and receding lower jaw. Snoring occurs when incomplete obstruction of the airway is caused during sleep, and apnea occurs when the airway is completely obstructed. When apnea during sleep exceeds 30 times per night, it is called respiratory sleep apnea syndrome. If sleep is disturbed by apnea, repeated hypoxemia and carbon dioxide retention can cause damage to multiple organs of the body, and hypertension, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, hyperviscosity and cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, etc. can occur. Poor sleep at night and drowsiness during the day not only reduce work energy, but also cause work-related injuries and car accidents, which seriously affect social stability. Therefore, we should pay attention to snoring and go to hospital for examination and treatment in time for serious snoring with sleep apnea.
